Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for digital social care record solutions
The DPS has been designed to support social care and NHS organisations make the switch to digital social care records quicker and easier by giving them access to a list of quality-assured, accredited supplier solutions.
The adoption of digital social care records will play an important role in joining up patient care across both social care and the NHS, with real-time information being shared across commissioners and regulators.
The accredited supplier list presents a marketplace where social care providers can be reassured their preferred digital solution has met both functional requirements and standards, helping to remove a lot of the stress from purchasing a digital social care record system.
DPS date and duration
April 2021 to November 2024.
Commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care and managed by NHSX, to provide expert advice and guidance to social care providers.
The DPS is being hosted on the digital social care website and includes:
- guidance for using the DPS
- purchasing through the DPS
- accredited supplier list
