If you are a member of the public looking for coronavirus health information you will need to, go to the NHS website. The GOV.UK website includes details of the NHS COVID Pass and information about living safely with respiratory infections, including COVID-19.

Domestic NHS COVID Pass

Please note that the domestic NHS COVID Pass is no longer available for venues or events to use as a condition of entry.

To provide reassurance to operators that they are viewing a genuine NHS COVID Pass, the NHS COVID Pass, within the NHS App, has a range of security features.

A customer’s COVID status is clearly displayed visually within the NHS App. The screenshot below illustrates how a successful COVID-19 status will be displayed.

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has published guidance for organisations on collecting, storing and sharing personal information relating to COVID-19.

Technical guidance

If you experience issues with the NHS COVID Pass Verifier app, please delete the application and reinstall it.

You may be required to undertake a software update on your mobile device too.

The NHS website includes support pages for technical issues with the NHS App and a form to contact the NHS App team.

The NHS suite of products, used in demonstrating and verifying COVID-19 status, are rigorously tested and developed and functionality will be upgraded as required.
